Oh how I miss the original JT sometimes. His trolling was immaculate:

"So, you know, honestly, the thing when I read some of them is I feel terrible for them because there's no way they're happy. They've got to be some of the most unhappy people in the world, and I feel bad because we just made them less happy, and I hate to be a part of making someone less happy. I mean, they're already miserable and to make them less happy, I'd feel bad."

JT may set some seriously stupid record marks if Wilson sets it on fire. I have been critical of the QB play all along, but I have not blamed JT. Hard to blame a guy when he was once good to great. Maybe he wins the Heisman next year?

I’m not about helping our league because it’s good for us. That kid, with his unselfishness, went through a lot. He was the premier player in the country two years ago when he got injured. He is one of the best players in the country, one of the best teammates. I’m not in their locker room. I’m sure he’s a phenomenal leader. He might have been off today, but he’s human. J.T. Barrett’s an awesome football player.”

New offensive coordinator seems good with him.

Don't read the subtweets? I don't think that the JT Barrett we've seen since his injury is going to win the Heisman and I can understand why some Buckeye fans would be concerned.

You see, in every fan base--and in ours a very small minority--who have excellent vision. They see things that others can't. They're experts on those small things that predict failure. And we should listen to them because we can learn from them.

Here are some of the most important lessons that their brilliant example provides us all:
  • When you are a pathetic loser, focus your frustration on some kid playing football for your favorite team.
  • Keep in mind that these kids come and go, but you are the real deal. You're the one who is always there. You're the most important one. Without you, there is no team.
  • Don't factor anything into the situation except that the kid didn't achieve some "easy" goal, like winning the Heisman. Forget play-calling, offensive line play, and what appears to have been pretty poor coaching from a man who appeared to be clueless in his last interview.
  • Remember that the kid owes you. Demand that he plays to your tune.
  • Don't forget to spill the ink and let them know that you're the customer and you are not satisfied. God gave you the gift of insight, so dial it in every week on your local fan website, on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Send emails to his college email address and to the coaches and AD as well.
  • Finally, you only know that you're doing it right, when you can look in the mirror and see your all-knowing face smiling back at you--chicks dig it.

Great young man and very happy to have him back. Quiet, respectful, confident, determined ... LEADER. Guy has been thru a lot (ACL, broken ankle, DUI, replacing the man, being replaced, winning it back ...) Very proud of how this Buckeye has handled himself thru the ups AND the downs.

Exactly. Although I'll concede that if being a horse's ass gets one the company that the horse's ass in that picture gets, I'll try to up my being a horse's ass game.
