JT2 missed the Heisman cut. I am actually indignant that Melvin Gordon made the cut, because I was pretty sure that we destroyed his chances in the championship game. If only JT2 were there so that people could compare JT2's contribution directly to Melvin's contribution. I dare them to find any Melvin Gordon hi-lights from the game against tOSU.

One consolation prize: it is good to hear the Amari Cooper will be missing practices because of all the banquets, as well as having his head puffed up.

Most if not all of my he ballots were cast likely before our game against him. Sucks about Barrett

I dunno. I'm usually the guy who sees every potential for disaster, but I had a very strong feeling about Cardale and the Bucks when I posted.

Then I fell under in influence of a monster cold. One so bad that Friday, Saturday and Sunday are lost in my memory. I do remember that I set the DVR to tape the game. I then proceeded to have an Amoxicillin, Musinix drug dream in which the Bucks were taking a lead. I pulled myself together long enough to go downstairs, turn on the game and, Viola! the Bucks were up 24. I watched to the end of the half and went to bed convinced there was no way they were going to let a 38 point lead get away from them.

Today I finally had the energy to go back and watch the whole game. Laughter is the best medicine.

I am fine with Gordon making the cut. He is a great player, great person, had an amazing season, and will represent the Big Ten there. But JT should have got an invite and expand the finalists to 4.

It certainly seems the this Heisman committee has a case of, "what have you done for me lately?" BTW, Gordon had some pretty nice runs in the first quarter and a half, but a strange decision to put the ball in Stave's hands instead of the running game led to early turnovers on two drives in OSU territory. After that it seems to me that Melvin pretty much lost interest in the game. It might also be recalled that Eddie George's last game prior to Heisman voting was a loss to Michigan, the weasles holding Eddie to 104 yds, while Biatchmafucka went ALL WORLD.
