QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

He was in the late process of straightening out when his foot barely touched the sideline...his next step was a good six inches inside the sideline. I just think he misjudged how close he was...

Totally the same play then. Yeah, he was close. That was a play that I went looking for when we got home. He was so close to the sideline and we didn't have a good view because of the team in the way.

J.T. Barrett ‘Looks Great’, Expected to Be Ready for Saturday

J.T.-Barrett-Fist.jpg

Despite leaving last Saturday’s game against Michigan with a knee injury, Ohio State starting quarterback J.T. Barrett was confident after OSU’s win over the Wolverines that he would be ready for Wisconsin and the Big Ten Championship Game in one week.

“Yeah, I’ll play next week,” he said without hesitation.

On Sunday, however, Barrett was not yet practicing.

Players are given Mondays off, so Tuesday’s practice was an opportunity to find out just where Barrett stood.

“He looks great,” said freshman running back J.K. Dobbins, adding that Barrett was running just fine.

“He’s going to be alright,” left tackle Jamarco Jones added. “He’ll be ready when Saturday comes.”

J.T. BARRETT BACK PRACTICING, DWAYNE HASKINS CONTINUES TO GET REPS PRIOR TO BIG TEN TITLE GAME

Ohio State's J.T. Barrett suffered an injury thanks to a cameraman just prior to taking the field for The Game in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Saturday, leaving the Buckeyes with a unique situation.

The Buckeyes have not committed to who will play quarterback against the Badgers, although it's largely assumed Barrett will play if he is healthy enough to perform.

Just in case he isn't able to play against Wisconsin, Dwayne Haskins is getting extra reps in practice this week. Haskins came on in relief of Barrett in the second half of a 31-20 win over Michigan, leading three scoring drives in four tries.

Offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson said Tuesday evening that Ohio State didn't have to shrink its playbook for Haskins, who was playing his first meaningful reps of his career.

"We didn't cut back what we were doing the other day when he was in there. We did what we did," Wilson said.

Had to have surgery on Sunday, per Tim May, but still expected to start. (If it's not a smokescreen so they don't prep for Haskins. Is it common to have arthroscopic surgery on your meniscus on a Sunday and play the following Saturday?)

Still crazy he was injured by a tsun photographer on the sideline moments before kickoff. Almost feels like it should be a bigger story than it is, for the sheer oddness if nothing else.

Had both ACLs pop on me (left knee in '92, right knee in '02) and had to have arthroscopic surgery to clean up the meniscus twice on the left knee after the fact.
Both of those clean ups were outpatient with no PT needed.
I would say that JT is in MUCH better condition than I was at the time, and I was playing pick-up b-ball at the gym 2 days after the last surgery.

Rise and fall of Florida happened because Meyer played favorites and had no dicipline http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...rnandez-percy-harvin-rise-fall-florida-gators
Things haven't changed and is what is going to destroy our team. Barrett makes nobody better. He is inaccurate against good teams, and his option qb runs against Wisconsin is a disaster waiting to happen. We are going to be destroyed. Option plays vs 3 - 4 defenses don't work. He still hasn't learned about the 2009 Florida vs Alabama game when he kept running that stupid option against the 3 -4 Bama defense.

Meyer is a god dam fucking idiot. Barrett is going to get us down 0 to 14, when his designed option plays are sniffed out and Haskins will need to come in to save the day. Meyer has no god dam clue and he never does who the best qb on the roster is. The fact he played Tim Tebow over Cam Newton at Florida tells me everything I need to know. He plays favorites with his favorite players.
Yea cause Tim Tebow wasn't good

Tim Tebow. Aaron Hernandez. Percy Harvin. Maurkice and Mike Pouncey. Joe Haden. Brandon Spikes. Riley Cooper. Even a young Cam Newton was there, awaiting his chance to start under center.

The Gators' coaching staff under Meyer was also formidable, boasting future head coaches of major programs in Strong (Louisville, Texas), Dan Mullen (Mississippi State) and Addazio (Temple, Boston College).

But the unrelenting drive that thrust the Gators into college football folklore proved unsustainable. A brilliant coach lost his fire. Fights once born of intense competition became sparked by contempt and disrespect. A culture of favoritism was perceived by many, and combined with myriad off-field issues, it slowly eroded the program's foundation.

@rgitelman11, I'm still awaiting a response to my last reply to you. I look forward to your fresh, not at all outdated takes.

Then "we" can look at "our" buckeyes together.

Cam Newton would have won just as many games as Tebow. Newton won the bcs title in 2010. Lets not be silly, Meyer has no clue how to judge quaterbacks. He had Cardale third string. He is a clueless tool who cannot evaluate this one position.

Well it was so much fun the first time, why not just copy and paste the same drivel again? Definitely not a troll:
The fact he played Tim Tebow over Cam Newton at Florida tells me everything I need to know. He plays favorites with his favorite players.
Yeah, that or Newton being a cripple.

My favorite part about your drivel is that you have completely opposite takes on facebook.
