Porn in the USA: Conservatives Are Biggest Consumers

ABC News: Porn in the USA: Conservatives Are Biggest Consumers

That company did, however, provide Edelman with roughly two years of
credit card data from 2006 to 2008 that included a purchase date and
each customer's postal code.

The biggest consumer, Utah, averaged 5.47 adult content subscriptions
per 1000 home broadband users;

Number 10 on the list was West Virginia at 2.94 subscriptions per
1000, while number 41, Michigan, averaged 2.32.

Eight of the top 10 pornography consuming states gave their
electoral votes to John McCain in last year's presidential election
- Florida and Hawaii were the exceptions.:banger:

Residents of 27 states that passed laws banning gay marriages
boasted 11% more porn subscribers than states that don't explicitly
restrict gay marriage. :tongue2:

In other news, an unknown user from Louisiana has single handedly quadupled the porn usage of all conservatives in the USA. The NYT is reporting that a user known as "gatorubet" on buckeyeplanet.com is the ring leader.

I wonder what Ohio's percentages were BEFORE CCI got married....

Although the more I think about it, the headline makes less and less sense. How do these "scientists" know who is surfing for pr0n and which of those are actually Conservatives and not Libertarians? Well except for Utah.....even the Liberals there are Conservatives

Oh well....

In this economy, we can't waste time [censored]ing.

Or something....

:p
In this economy, it's too expensive to pay for the real thing, so we economize with pr0n.

As a side note, this "in this economy" catchphrase is real convenient; don't you all agree?

Didn't ya get the message, Mike? Repressive lifestyles breed desire for those things deemed "evil". (porn, alcohol, gambling, whoring,)
It's a big elephant thang. :tongue2:

I wonder what the political breakdown of hetero porn vs. bestiality in New Mexico was..... :p

Just curious

Is it really possible to make the jump from "states that voted conservatively" to "all conservatives in that state"?

Could it be that living in states with a lot of conservatives would make people want to "escape", whatever that meant? I could imagine that being told that something I liked was "evil" would make me want to do it all the more. If you can get it in the "real world", you wouldn't need to look for it online, right?

And you know that you can find statistics to back up anything- here's data regarding Democrats "admitting to" (I know) more porn usage and more sexual partners. Even though it's a jump in logic, people could use these numbers to talk about how screwed up Democrats are and how we need to "fight the liberal agenda".

Like I said, just wondering. I've got all these stones, and need to know where I should throw them.
