Hello,
The buy it now price will be 700$for bouth tickets.I have for sale 3 x 2 tickets=6 tickets.I do not know very well how much is the value of the tickets but i think that 700$ is a good price for me and for you too
The seats are side by side you will have great view.
If you're ready for this purchase, I need to know your, full name and address..... as I have them I'll start the official procedure, and eBay will notify you about this. You'll also receive important guidelines + instructions from them (please go through them exactly). I'll handle the shipping, so this will be free of charge
for you + I am willing to deduct you with the fee for handling the payment procedure. Also, a refund policy will be included. ...so please inform me your final answer if you want to buy my tickets or not...waht is your ebay ID
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I'd be a bit wary. However, if this is an official eBay auction, your friend can check the seller rating and comments and stuff. If it's a new seller, I'd run. But if it's an established eBay user, it's probably okay.

I don't use eBay much, but isn't there some protection if you pay through PayPal, too?

I certainly wouldn't throw a money order in the mail, unless it's to B. Rubble.

where is the seller from? If the are local ask to meet in person to discuss the tickers. Ask to talk to them on the phone. If they are from outside of Ohio tell them you have a friend that can pay for them in person and see how they react.

DON'T BUY IF THE SELLER IS THIS MAN....

There are signs in that email/auction that lead to the fact that it is a scam.

The last name of the user is French. Her broken English at the beginning of the email and the natural tendency to put the $ after the value is typical of Europeans. The seller is using a yahoo account which is nearly untracebale and if used outside the US, untouchable by US laws.

You have to ask yourself, why would the French have tickets to this game?

Don't buy

I say definite scam. My money is on that their preffered method of payment is western union or an ebay trust account which generally do not exist. I got screwed in 2002...ended up being in Tempe w/o tix and lost all money paid for them. I always say be wary of tix that are well below market price. The market for tickets is too large for unreasonable prices especially on ebay.

Never buy tickets on E-bay.

I buy tickets on ebay all the time and haven't had a problem yet. You just have to be smart about it.

- Pay by credit card
- Deal only with sellers that have established (positive) history
- Never deal with someone who wants to take the transaction off eBay
- If it sounds to good to be true, deal accordingly

I agree 100%. There are people in Europe trying to scam via e-mail constantly. I had my Truck for sale on-line and I received many proposals that ended up being scams. It seemed like all of them came from Europe.

I have as well!! I even have emailed the people & got a phone number for the 2 separate pairs of Ohio State tickets I bought & never had a problem!
PayPal wil protect you as well on there! Watch for 12~24 hour auctions or those that have a link that takes you off of ebay! Those are usually scams!
