Absolutely...I have lived in Columbus most of my life, been a Buckeye fan all my life, coach rugby at Ohio State and attend every home game possible, all despite not being an alumni. And I sing it every time.

JT went to Baldwin-Wallace...should he be singing? Of course...

yes...tOSU is more than just about the alumni. I know many people from back home that went to different schools, Mt. Union, YSU, John Carroll for instance, that consider themsleves Buckeyes just because they are from Ohio....

I voted yes as well. I did not attend OSU, but I attend most of the games and support the team/university. I have always felt a little strange singing the song, but I also believe it is part of the experience.

I always laugh at the idiots who remove their hats for Carmen Ohio. Uh, it's a university alma mater, not the national anthem.

Furthermore, even if you are stupid enough to think that you need to respect Carmen in that way, shouldn't OSU hats be allowed during the playing, just as military and Boy Scout hats are allowed during the national anthem?

My father taught me the words when I was little. I've been singing it all my life, even though I didn't attend OSU.

This poll blows b/c there's no "I couldn't care less" option. If non-OSU grads want to sing Carmen Ohio they can go right ahead. Personally, I'd never sing another school's alma mater no matter how much I liked the school or how often I attended an event there (my family had season UD basketball tickets growing up, and I'm still a huge UD fan...I'd never consider singing their alma mater). If someone thinks singing Carmen Ohio somehow makes them more of a Buckeye or it's part of the experience of being an OSU graduate, let them proceed with that delusion. It's not hurting anyone or anything.
