Head Coach
I am sure there will be plenty with Zurp's and Mili's, but I have a couple games I am on the fence on for an office pool and thought maybe some of you guys would be of good help, since we are so good at these types of things...
Here are the games and my thoughts...Feel free to add yours and any other games that you might like...
Oregon vs. BYU
- BYU has that great passing game, but Oregon actually has a good pass defense. I also think Oregon has more speed and their running game will control the game. Should be a very high scoring game, but I think Oregon will eek this one out. Oregonbuckeye have any thoughts on whether your team will not turn the ball over 5 times?
San Jose St. vs. New Mexico
- Honestly I have no idea. All I know is that it in New Mexico's home stadium and they are favored by 2.5 points so I am leaning towards them.
Utah vs. Tulsa
- Another one I don't have much of a clue on. Tulsa is the favorite by 3 pts...leaning towards them.
UCLA vs. FSU
- UCLA is the favorite by 5 points, but this game kinda scares me to pick against FSU just b/c I think they have the better athletes, but have no sort of direction in what they are trying to do. UCLA has played tough against Notre Dame and USC. Just scared to pick against a team I think should have better athletes...
Bama vs. Okie st.
- Bama has showed me nothing all year and they lost their coach. Will they play for him or just lay an egg. Okie St. has been a solid team this year and I really like Bobby Reid, that is why I lean to the Cowboys...
Maryland vs. Purdue
- Purdue has a good offense, but no defense. I believe they rank like 112 in defense. No real good wins. I like Maryland's QB, but other than that not sure about them. I think they benefitted from a down year in the ACC and they are not that good of a team, but I am leaning towards them...They are the favorite by 3 or so I think...
Va Tech vs. UGA
- On a neutral field I think I go with Va Tech and Vegas has them as 2.5 pt favorite, but UGA is basically home game playing in their home state...
scUM vs. USC
- I like scUM, but it is another situation where it is a virtual home game for them and will they lay an egg they seem to do in big games. Also will they feel slighted for being left out of the NC game and come out and play tough or not...
