Pens at Canes - Game 4

This is the first time ever that I'm actually confident in a sweep. I think the last loss was demoralizing for the Canes, and I'm pretty sure Malkin is still really pissed from when he was in a little fight. Ever since he came out of the box and did a 16 second PK, he's been playing like his life is on the line. :banger:

Jordan is beating his brother. This is why I'm glad we kept Staal. Nothing like having a line that can shut out the opponents best scorers, and that line still has the ability to score. When Jordan develops his offensive game a little, he'll be ridiculous.

I'm still slightly drunk from last night and I'm rambling. I'm going to stop now.

I swear, Hal Gill just had another fucking turnover that resulted in the puck going in front of the net. If it had been on the ice, it would have been a damn good shot and maybe another goal. Get him out of here. Play a rookie, play down a man, it can't be worse.

Talk about a weak goal..

One of the announcers said "OMG." :shake:

Smiley overload

I actually said 'Oh my God' out loud when I saw Talbot's shot float over Cam Ward's glove and into the net. Just before he said 'OMG'.

Like he also said, 900-thread count soft.

I was just disappointed that he said a text shortcut out loud. :p

The call on Malkin near the end of the period was probably the worst call in the history of sports.

You know you'll be fined v$10,000 for that last comment. :wink2:

I don't know, the Canes have been playing pretty well in the offensive zone tonight. They're still having trouble with the Pens' cycle, but they've definitely stepped up their game.

Jordan Staal could probably have a couple goals right now if he weren't so raw offensively. I'm not blaming him or getting upset, but he's been in good position. He's playing a good game.

Hossa had 26 points last year. Not sure if the Pens would've got Guerin and Kunitz if they still had Hossa. Guerin and Kunitz have 26 points with what looks like another series to go. Maybe I'm not mad at Hossa after all..
