I hate to be negative, but if the Bucks don't step up and play better D, and show some passion in rebounding, then Battle and Cornley will chew em up and spit em out. Battle will penetrate the zone and Cornley will go after every rebound and get most of them. I just haven't seen the tenacity and intensity that this team needs to win big games. Hopefully this game starts a hot streak.
Question, why when the Bucks opponent misses a long three and the rebound bounces long, do the opponents seem to get the ball most of the time, and when the same thing happens on a Buck attempt, do the opponents also seem to get the rebound? Even when I see our guys diving on the floor for loose balls, it seems the opponents come up with the ball more often.
I wonder if Thad's back and foot issues, caused by his back are hurting the teams intensity. It seems like some of his earlier teams played with more urgency, maybe he was able to show more in practice, or get in guy's faces more, or maybe the pain, or discomfort he's feeling is distracting him a bit. Well this team better play with more urgency these last few weeks or they'll find themselves bounced off the bubble back into the NIT.
I hate to be down on the squad, but I just want them to play like they want it more and go after the game and the ball accordingly. Tonights is another game on the National stage for the Bucks to show that they belong in the Big Dance, c'mon boys, bring home the win.
