Not only does this article point out that tOSU is not the only program who has had some issues (arguably a helluva lot less than these two), but you get to see a little of Spurrier and Fulmer going at each other. :box:

While at Florida Spurrier once said of Tennessee, "You can't spell Citrus without UT," referring to the many times the Vols had to settle for the Citrus Bowl after losing to his Gators.


Now, his vitriol to Fulmer reads something like this, "If you want to read about some full-blown fights, read about the Tennessee players, not our guys. We've not had any knockdown, drag-out fights amongst our players."

Fulmer's response?

"[Spurrier] needs to take care of his own house and leave mine alone. He's got plenty of issues over there, I'm sure, to deal with. We've had a lot worse things than this that we've gotten through." Adding, "It doesn't bother me one bit. Maybe it rained that day and he didn't get to play golf."

Those quotes are from the spring. I guess the guy in Alabama needed to recycle some old stuff in order to write an interesting article. Spurrier vs. Fulmer has been entertaining over the years.

Spurrier is my favorite when it comes to jabbing at teams or coaches

when asked about Peyton Manning coming back for his senior year.

Comment made about Auburn and a fire at their athletic dorm.
