OL Taylor Decker (Detroit Lions)

Decker was a first rounder was he not? I didn't really follow his career that close but I thought he was successful?
Pretty sure @HotMic is only referring to lineman who received coaching from Stud during his tenure. Decker was training for the draft the same year Studrawa was hired (2016).
These comments from the Tristan Leigh thread put this question in my mind: is Taylor Decker the most successful NFL OT/OSU alumnus, since Orlando Pace?

Since you specifically cite OT, then perhaps so. Even for OL in general Decker is in the top 5.

2x first-team all-pro, 7x pro-bowler Nick Mangold comes to mind when you open it up to other positions on the OL.

Totally agree. Mangold is far and away the most decorated NFL OL since Pace.

Names off the top of my head for the "everybody else" category are Mewhort, Linsley, Elflein, Price, Alex Boone, Shane Olivea and Rob Sims. There have been a few others that have played some in the NFL but those are the ones I remember with decent careers or the beginnings of one. Put Decker up against this list and he could easily be #2.

Mike Adams was drafted in the 2nd round but he did not pan out at all. I may be forgetting someone and I'm not counting any of the guys drafted the past year or two.

Andrew Norwell needs to be listed....I think he set record for highest paid guard in NFL when he signed with Jacksonville.

Stepanovich played a few years in league as well.
