Ohio State women’s basketball has its first win of the season at the expense of the Belmont Bruins 84-56.

The Buckeyes began the game on a 15-2 run that saw them exorcise some early season demons against the overmatched Bruins.

Among the normal stars in action Cait Craft enjoyed some huge success behind the arc that saw her hit 5 threes for 15 points, Mitchell added 25 and Alston 22.

Mitchell enjoyed success all across the board tonight as she was 9/15 over all which included 6/12 from 3 PT range and had 6 assists to just 1 turnover.

Amersyt Alston also returned to her usual self shooting 8/13 over all with 4/8 from 3 PT range and was perfect in the assist 4 to turn over 0 department.
