    Bradshaw still not with the team and the rest of the team honestly look kinda scared to screw up. Shots are short and they don't look real aggressive. Valpo leads 12-8 at the first tv timeout.

    I think Bruce might be broken. He hasn't looked the same since the A&M game and where he goes the team goes. Uncharacteristic turnovers and he's not scoring anymore. Not great but someone else has to take over and be the man he was not the one he is.

    Mobley kind of running the offensive show. Thornton seems to be deferring to him and he's gotten his own shot a couple times on the drive then made them pay from 3 when they slack at all. This is good. Royal still wont be what his identity tells him to be unfortunately. Give me 4 more Mahaffeys and fight for every win. Buckeyes took the lead at the 11 minute mark and are starting to control the game. 22-16 Buckeyes at 8:25 left.

    Thornton got his 3rd foul at the 4:30 mark and has to sit. Leaves Parrish and Mobley to run the show with Royal, Mahaffey and Stewart also out there. Bucks lead 29-20.

    The first half started scary, as if the team were walking wounded. Didnt look like they had a purpose when the game started but once Mobley started hitting and Mahaffey's crazy energy started to seep in, they got it going. Valpo doesn't have the athletes that we've been dealing with lately so there's no fools gold here in this one, it's much more of a get right game. If they don't explode in the second half and win comfortably, it will be a long nasty year. Hopefully they get right.

    Devin has 18pts and 9 boards at halftime. He got half of that in the last 6 minutes it seems. He started to attack the basket which is where he needs to always be. Him standing out at the 3 point line is the worst thing he should be doing. He and Parrish got aggressive and started to attack the ball wherever it was and good things started to happen and now the lead is 41-30 at halftime. The should win this running away if they play that type of basketball. Attack, attack ATTACK!

    Royal is 1-4 from 3 point range and recovered zero of those misses in the rebound. He is 10-14 from 2 and has dominated within 15 feet. His career game and it isn't even close. Career highs in rebounds with 13 and poiints with 29 and there's still over 10 minutes left in the game.

    This is your identity Devin. THIS. Someone knock some sense into him so he can wake up and dominate like he's capable of. Buckeyes lead 63-48 with just under 12 minutes left.

    Parks isnt showing up in the stat book very much but I've just been watching him exclusively and he works for good position and that has allowed his team mates to put up stats. With the way Stewart gets in foul trouble I'd bet he is going to play every game from here out even when Bradshaw returns. If he just gets a bit more aggressive on the Offensive end he could make some noise come conference play. Also, having 2 bigs on the court at once along with Royal could be a dangerous team on the boards. Buckeyes 73-50 now and running a bit.

    Etzler and Baumann in for some nice minutes. Mahaffey still balling like it's a tie game in the national tournament. I seriously love that kid. If he had more offense I'd say he's a lock for the NBA but he would probably be looking overseas.

    Etzler nails his first 3 ball! Good stuff but we're fouling way too much at the end of this game.

    95-71 winner and it wasn't really that close. Dominated the boards but it's a lesser opponent. Bring that second half intensity to every half of every game. That's the difference. Mobley is going to run the game a bit more I have a feeling. Bruce needs to sort himself out because if he's not good, the team isn't going to go forward at all. Saturday is going to be another massive test.
