Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets - Austin Mack gets Army All-American jersey

Four-star Buckeye commit Austin Mack received his Army jersey. Plus, could two big-time prospects be headed to Columbus?
Mack gets big honor
It was a special day for '16 WR and Ohio State commit Austin Mack as he was presented with his Army All-American jersey. The Fort Wayne native has impressed at many camps and his outstanding in between the lines. Mack is the 101st-ranked player in his class.
Mack has put together a jaw-dropping senior season at Bishop Luers (IN) this year. It will be a nice opportunity for the 6'2, 205-pounder to show his ability on national TV and put on a show for the ones who fight for this country before heading to his new home of Columbus (OH) to begin playing his collegiate football career.
Victor to the Buckeyes?
On Wednesday morning, one of the most respected recruiting analysts in the business made a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction that should definitely make Ohio State fans excited. Steve Wiltfong pegged '16 WR Binjimen Victor of Coconut Creek (FL) to the Buckeyes. This, in my opinion, would be the perfect get for head coach Urban Meyer on the offensive side of the ball. If the OSU could pair Victor with the aforementioned Mack, it would be unbelievably impressive haul and would certainly give WR coach Zach Smith more toys at the position. While I never felt confident enough to predict the 6'4, 170-pounder to play in Columbus, I've long thought that he was the most realistic option at the position.
Victor currently grades out as the 70th-best player in the entire 2016 class. As for his standing in as a pass-catcher, only seven players are ranked higher than him on the 247Sports Composite Scale. Lastly, Victor is the 12th-best overall prospect in the Sunshine State. We'll see if the Buckeyes can reel in the four-star prospect from Urban Meyer's old stomping grounds.
Fisher to UNLV
Last night, '16 PG Jaylen Fisher of Bolton (TX) announced his pledge to Dave Rich and the Runnin' Rebels of UNLV. Fisher is a four-star prospect and the second guard in the class that has committed to that program.
What does that mean for Ohio State? Well, we will have to wait and see. If you don't recall, '16 G Kobi Simmons of St. Francis (GA) announced a top three of Kentucky, Ohio State, and UNLV. With the final school already having two guards in the fold, could that knock them out of the mix? While surely Simmons won't say it will, it could have an impact on his decision. Either way, the Buckeyes will have to keep their foot on the gas in this recruitment if they have any chance with the five-star.
