After last weekend's split with CC, the Puckeyes are ranked No. 2 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 3 in the USCHO.com/CSTV Media Poll.

CCHA is looking very strong this year.

Good news for the hockey team. These guys are really good this year, and I hope people turn out and support them. #2 is nice. Thursday the team is at Bowling Green, and Friday they host Bowling Green in the home opener. Both games start at 7:05 and will be broadcasted on WOSU internet radio.

OSU vs. BGSU

I don't see BGSU providing you with much trouble. Sigalet, their star goalie from last year, is now gone and they really struggled this weekend. BGSU lost to Merrimack on Friday (Michigan beat Merrimack 9-2 on Sunday) and lost to Boston College 9-6 on Saturday. I don't think you'll have any trouble lighting the lamp.

Instead of showing CC vs. OSU, a big early season matchup, ESPNU (or maybe it was CSTV) decided to wait a week and show CC vs. Notre Dame....good choice.
