The Buckeyes only change is moving Sean Nuernberger up the depth chart as they head into Saturday's showdown with the Spartans.

J.T. Barrett remains the starter after going 15-of-23 passing for 150 yards and a touchdown through the air against Illinois. Barrett also rushed for 74 yards and one touchdown. He had an excellent showing against Michigan State in 2014, leading the charge as Ohio State made a huge statement on the road. Now the Buckeyes host the Spartans and look to continue their winning streak. Cardale Jones is the backup and will be ready at a moment's notice.

No surprises at running back with Ezekiel Elliott as the starter. Elliott rushed for 181 yards last Saturday and extended his streak of consecutive 100-yard games to 14. He also added two touchdowns. Bri'onte Dunn and Warren Ball back up Elliott as usual.

Curtis Samuel, Jalin Marshall, and Michael Thomas are your starters at wide receiver. Parris Campbell, Terry McLaurin, and James Clark are your backups to the starters. Campbell is listed as OR with Jeff Greene. Thomas led Ohio State in receiving with six receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Braxton Miller remains the starter at H-back. Miller touched the ball only twice against Illinois, as the staff seemed to be holding off on trying to get him involved as much as usual. That could be of the scare Miller had against Minnesota where he went down hard and had to come out for the rest of the game. Curtis Samuel remains the backup.

The tight end spot is firmly locked down by Nick Vannett, with Marcus Baugh listed as the backup once again. No change there, nor would I expect one for the remainder of the season, barring injury.

The offensive line stays the same up front, with Taylor Decker, Billy Price, Jacoby Boren, Pat Elflein, and Chase Farris (from left to right). The pass protection is still a gigantic concern for Ohio State, as Urban Meyer mentioned in his press conference, but no changes here.

Switching to defense, from one end to the other, the starters on the defensive line are listed as Joey Bosa, Adolphus Washington, and Tyquan Lewis. Sam Hubbard is the backup to Bosa, while Donovan Munger OR Tracy Sprinkle backs up Washington. Tommy Schutt OR Joel Hale OR Michael Hill are listed at starting defensive tackle, while Jayln Holmes backs up Lewis with Darius Slade closing that side of the line out.

The linebackers remain the same with Joshua Perry at weak outside linebacker, Raekwon McMillan in at middle linebacker, and Darron Lee finishing at strong outside linebacker.

At cornerback, not much has changed. Gareon Conley and Eli Apple man the outside edges. Damon Webb is the backup alongside Marshon Lattimore. For safeties, the starters are still Vonn Bell and Tyvis Powell. Jarrod Barnes remains Bell's backup, while Malik Hooker remains Powell's backup.

Jalin Marshall remains the starter at punt returner and has no listed backup.

Jack Willoughby is not listed as the lone starter at kicker anymore, after Sean Nuernberger attempted the only field goal against Illinois, which he missed badly. Nuernberger was also on extra point duty, while Willoughby was only on the field for kickoffs. It's unclear the reasoning behind it, but the depth chart has changed as the Buckeyes move forward with Nuernberger as the lone starter. Johnston is still the starting punter and that won't change for the foreseeable future. Curtis Samuel and Warren Ball are the starters at kick return.
