Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 19 Straight B1G Titles)

Now it is Ohio State 2 - UCLA 2

1. Aidan Kim won 7-6, 6-2
2. Alex Bernard down 6-7, 5-5
3. Will Jansen lost 2-6, 5-7
4. Jack Anthrop down 5-7, 6-0, 3-5
5. Bryce nakashima won 6-2, 6-4
6. Brandon Carpico up 6-3, 2-6, 5-2

It is looking like 2 of the three (Bernard, Anthrop, and Carpico) need to pull out wins.

Tough match. I was in the stands for the match yesterday, when Bernie got broke after the penalty point. The first crowd warning was warranted, it was an Ohio State fan that yelled out too early. The problem was that the second time around, it was a UCLA fan that yelled out during the point, and that stupid B1G official called the penalty on Ohio State:getout: ..... so Bernie started out 0-15, and eventually lost his serve and the match.

Onwards to the Outdoor Natty, 5:30 pm tonight is the Men's Tennis selection show.

Bruins deserve Congratulations on the conference tournament title! They came in clutch at dubs, and upset Anthrop which was huge.
Yesterday‘s final marked the first time in 22 years that TOSU lost a home match to a conference opponent.
No excuses but Bucks excel indoors UCLA are primarily an outdoor team with experience adjusting to wind, sun glare.
while Bucks won indoors 4-0 on April 4, the difference in playing outside yesterday gave the edge to UCLA.
It was a tough match but have to believe it will offer the necessary incentive to take a run in the national.
