That hasn't happened since 2006.

Recap of Friday's victory over Tulsa from the OSU Tennis Site

The fourth-ranked Ohio State men's tennis (33-2) downed No. 36 Tulsa (21-8), 4-0, Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship at the Taube Tennis Center in Stanford, Calif. The Buckeyes will meet the winner of the Baylor/UCLA match at 7 p.m. Saturday for a chance to move on to the semifinals.
Qualifying for its sixth-consecutive NCAA quarterfinal, Ohio State and head coach Ty Tucker improve to 28-11 in the NCAA tournament.
"It was a very good win for us," Tucker said. "It was a high-level match and Tulsa is a good team. They beat Oklahoma, who made it to the quarterfinals last year and Texas, who seems to make it to the quarterfinals every year."
Senior Balazs Novak downed Tulsa's Tristan Jackson on court six 6-2, 6-4 to clinch the win. Novak improves to 28-6 overall, including marks of 24-4 in the spring and 6-1 at the No. 6 position.
In one of the hardest doubles points to come by on the season, the Buckeyes pulled away from Tulsa to earn the point heading into singles play.
Freshman Blaz Rola and Novak kept their winning streak alive by defeating Grant Ive and Tristan Jackson, 8-3, on court three for the pair's 10th-consecutive victory. The Buckeye duo improves to 15-1 in doubles play on the season.
Tulsa's Clifford Marsland and Ashley Watling countered with an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles vs. Matt Allare and Peter Kobelt.
Junior Chase Buchanan and senior Shuhei Uzawa sealedthe doubles point for the Buckeyes following their 8-5 win vs. Marcelo Arevalo and Japie De Klerk. It was the duo's fifth-consecutive win as they moved to 13-2 on the season.
"We we're pretty sure the doubles point was going to shake out at No. 2 and that's what happened," Tucker said. "Shuhei came up with some clutch volleys and Chase gave us some big serves."
Overall, the Buckeyes improve to 78-19 in spring doubles competition.
Buchanan quickly put Ohio State up, 2-0, with his 16th-consecutive win. He beat De Klerk in straight-sets 6-1, 6-1 to improve to 33-5 overall, including marks of 28-2 in spring play and 12-1 at the No. 2 position.

Beat them bears grace.
[strike]I'm depending on the ladies to save our tennis honor. They made the quarterfinals versus Miami anyway, as we beat Clem's son today.[/strike]
