The sixth depth chart of the season makes some adjustments for the injuries to Corey Smith and Cam Burrows.

Ohio State continues to stick with Cardale Jones as the lone starter. Jones went 18-of-27 for 245 yards and a touchdown against Indiana and mostly played well, but threw a key interception in the second half. At one point, there were reports that J.T. Barrett was warming up on the sideline, but never came in. It's still pretty clearly Jones' job to lose though, and he'll look to add more consistency this week against Maryland.

No surprises at running back with Ezekiel Elliott as the starter. Elliott had a monster game against the Hoosiers, rushing for 274 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries. His performance helped Ohio State avoid the upset with three huge breakaway runs all for over 40+ yards. He'll likely have a good week against a Maryland Terrapins squad. Bri'onte Dunn is the backup as usual, while Warren Ball remains third-string.

Despite being listed as the starter at one of the wide receiver spots, Ohio State didn't use much of Curtis Samuel. Samuel, who took over for the injured Parris Campbell, only touched the ball one time all game and was pretty much a non-factor. Michael Thomas and Jalin Marshall continue to be the go-to receivers for Jones as the other starters. With Corey Smith being listed out for the season after he suffered a leg injury against Indiana, he is no longer listed as a backup to Thomas and Parris Campbell moves back into a spot on the depth chart behind Thomas.

Braxton Miller remains the starter at H-back and still isn't seeing much of the ball these days. Whether it be the coaching staff trying to get too cute with his plays or simply based off a need to win, it doesn't appear that Miller was the X-factor that some may have thought he would have been earlier this season. Miller touched the ball twice all game, one reception and one carry. Dontre Wilson remains the backup.

The tight end spot is firmly locked down by Nick Vannett, with Marcus Baugh listed as the backup once again. No change there, nor would I expect one for the remainder of the season, barring injury.

The offensive line stays the same up front, with Taylor Decker, Billy Price, Jacoby Boren, Pat Elflein, and Chase Farris (from left to right). The line play doesn't seem to have improved much over the course of the past couple of weeks and will need to adjust things quickly if the Buckeyes want to make another championship run.

Switching to defense, from one end to the other, the starters on the defensive line are listed as Joey Bosa, Adolphus Washington, Tommy Schutt, and Tyquan Lewis. Sam Hubbard is the backup to Bosa, while Donovan Munger OR Tracy Sprinkle backs up Washington. Joel Hale OR Michael Hill back up Schutt, while Jayln Holmes backs up Lewis with Darius Slade closing that side of the line out.

The linebackers remain the same with Joshua Perry at weak outside linebacker, Raekwon McMillan in at middle linebacker, and Darron Lee finishing at strong outside linebacker.

At cornerback, nothing has changed as Gareon Conley and Eli Apple man the outside edges with Marshon Lattimore replacing the suspended Damon Webb for backup along with Denzel Ward. For safeties, the starters are still Vonn Bell and Tyvis Powell. Erick Smith is listed as the backup to Bell but with Cam Burrows being lost to injury, Malik Hooker will take over in his place as the backup to Powell. Webb's suspension is still intact, but with the secondary's depth taking a hit due to injuries, one wonders how long Webb will stay suspended for.

Jalin Marshall remains the starter at punt returner. Ezekiel Elliott is still the backup at punt returner, same as last week.

Jack Willoughby and Sean Nuernberger are still listed as starters with OR in between them for place kicking. Willoughby, however, seems to be the lone starter based off the opportunities and him being on the field for the entirety of the games this season. Willoughby connected on two of his three field goals last Saturday, with a long of 26 yards. He was also made all four extra points. Johnston is still the starting punter and that won't change for the foreseeable future. Oddly enough, despite Curtis Samuel being listed as the starter at kick returner with Warren Ball, Dontre Wilson made a return to the starting kick return team against Indiana and will take over for Ball.
