  • The Buckeyes travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a four game series commencing this Friday. The Bucks are trying to shake off a two game thumping by Western Carolina. The Gophers are currently 33-10 (14-5 Big 10). Minnesota is the defending Big 10 Champions. Game 1 is scheduled for 7:35PM (EST) Friday. Games 2 and 3 will be 3:05PM, and 5:35PM respectively on Saturday. The series concludes Sunday with ah 2:05PM start. A 3-1 or even a split will go a long way to reviving the flagging spirits of a depleted OSU nine.

The Golden Gophers are having another solid year at 33-10 on the heels of last year's championship. A critical 4 game series with Michigan was cancelled due to inclement weather in the Twin Cities or they may be at the top of the Big 10 standings again. The Bucks need to rally to make the tournament. A sweep may leave them on the outside looking in. They are only a couple of games ahead of Purdue for the final spot.
