Ohio State’s Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley are the NFL Draft’s top cornerbacks

It’s a talented class, and yet the conversation leading up to the draft largely remains about the two Bucks.
“Conley is a really intriguing player to me. I like him better than Lattimore as a prospect.”

SB Nation’s compilation of mock drafts show that Marcus Lattimore is mocked earlier than Gareon Conley is most projections. Lattimore is the most mocked player to the No. 3 and No. 5 teams in the Bears and Titans respectively. But Greg Cosell told McManus that he likes Conley more than Lattimore as an NFL player. Cosell told McManus that Lattimore is more of "an athlete than a football player at this point, and now it comes down to coaching."
Cosell also likes the “level of experience and versatility” that Conley brings. “He would fit [the Eagles] because he can play outside and in the slot,” he told McManus. “Ohio State played a lot of press man, he's played that. Good-sized kid. Conley is a good prospect.” No matter who gets picked first, we’ll all be rooting on the soon-to-be former Buckeyes in the NFL.
“Lattimore and Conley visited the Jets on Tuesday, and both could make sense with the No. 6 pick for the team that is searching for solutions to fix a leaky secondary.”

The New York Jets could really use any type of help they could get. Some mock drafts have them taking a quarterback, with North Carolina’s Mitchell Trubisky being the played most mocked to them at No. 6 overall. Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley have also been up there, along with Malik Hooker.
For the Jets, they’d prefer to get a cornerback, and one of the talented Ohio State players could be that answer. The Jets struck out on picking Dee Milliner back in the day, so for one of the Bucks to be selected would come with some great pressure in the biggest market in the United States. Lattimore and Conley both visited the Jets on Tuesday, and could possibly join former teammate Darron Lee with gang green.

The NFL Draft brings out plenty of projections and opinions. ESPN’s Louis Riddick — when comparing the two best safeties in the draft — said that Jamal Adams could do whatever Malik Hooker does. He then added that you couldn’t say the same about Hooker with regards to what Adams does.
Hooker didn’t appreciate it, and laughed it out on Twitter.
Another top safety, Budda Baker, came to provide support for Hooker, and wanted him to ignore Riddick’s criticism. Hooker has been mocked to the 49ers in mock drafts at No. 2 overall, and if you’d ask us, the 49ers would be getting a phenomenal player.

Though he was Ohio State’s biggest playmaker in the 2016 season on offense, Curtis Samuel’s name has flown under the radar leading up to the 2017 NFL Draft. Samuel had 97 carries for 771 yards with 8 touchdowns and 74 catches for 865 yards and 7 touchdowns as the only player in the country with at least 700 yards receiving and rushing.
The Cowboys are set at running back with Ezekiel Elliott, but Samuel would be a versatile player that the Cowboys could use in multiple ways. He can be a running back, play in the slot, and is a physical player. Not to mention it would be pretty neat to see him playing alongside his former teammate in Zeke.
