Have BTN on in the background right now. They just finished replaying last year’s B1G CG. It seemed like every time I looked up there was an immensely talented receiver hustling his ass off to block on a running play. Few football fans have ever had the privilege of cheering for a team that works this hard. Fewer have had the privilege of cheering for a team this talented. Fewer still have cheered for a team this unselfish. You put all of them together; this is a pretty unique experience. Hartline is a big part of that.

FWIW, the DE Hartline decleated to take out two Iowa defenders was Bryan Mattison, Greg’s son.

Wonder if that ever came up in the halls of the WHAC when they were on the same staff…

Weird that multiple 100yd receivers in the same game are happening several times in a year. I remember when it had never happened and we got close a few times. Hell 3 in a game is not only possible now but likely against some teams. Sheesh

I'm trying to think of a position group that gave OSU this kind of dominant edge on the field. I guess we won't know for sure til careers are all over but man does it look good right now.

Good question and framing. A few come to mind in my lifetime (Orlando Pace freshman year, AJ Hawk and crew, DBs from a few years ago), but this might be it. Will be interesting to see if they continue to be this dominant at the end of the year.
