the odds are 1/1

that means if you bet 1,000 you get your 1K back plus another 1K in winnings.

If you bet 200 you get your 200 back and another 200 in winnings so yes you could look at it as "getting" 400 but only 200 of it is winnings.

For Instance:
I have a total stake of 1,000 vcash
I bet 200. My stake is now 800
I win and the Vbookie pays out my total stake=1,200
