NFC West Championship: Rams(-2.5) at Seahawks

This reminds me of the Tuesday night play-in game of the NCAA hoops tournament. Are they playing in Dayton?

I understand what you're saying given it is the NFC Less, but the intent was to have a game that matters. The winner hosts the Saints in the playoffs and the loser goes home, so it matters. The Saints will likely win either way.

Still, I'm looking forward to seeing Bradford. Despite having a crappy WR corp the kid has played pretty well by all accounts. I haven't seen him play other than Red Zone highlights, so let's see how he does in a pressure situation.

Oh, I'm watching. And I love the idea of the flex-game.

Just hard not to find the humor in these two teams (or heck, any of the 4 West teams) playing in a "game that matters." :)

I see a lot of STL players seem to enjoy the whole "THE [insert school]" theme. All those Buckeyes must be getting to them.

I agree, the NFC West is a joke. I think part of the reason I'm rooting for STL is at least they would be 8-8 if they win. A 7-9 team hosting a playoff game would be an NFL first, and not a good one.

Sad to say I remember Charlie Whitehurst's dad David playing QB for Green Bay. Yeah, I'm getting old.

Combine that with Laurinaitis, Larry Grant, Na'il Diggs, and Spagnuolo>Pete Carroll and I'm also rooting for the Rams.

The only situation I can think of off the top of my head is Cecil* and Prince Fielder, and even that's a bit of a stretch as I was pretty young. I'm sure there's a few more. Tim Hardaway has a kid at M*ch*g*n now and I remember his "killer crossover."
