Hi everyone,
I'm a buckeyes fan from France. Seeing how we are going to recruit RB in Florida for the 09 class (09 OH class seems low in RB), i was wondering if there was anybody from OH that could be the next big thing (class of 2010 or 2011) as far as OH RB are concerned ? Maybe the next beanie or zoom.

(in thread titled: Youth Football - anybody have a kid playing?) Well we had our first game of the season yesterday, and Nightmare had 11 carries for 179 yards an 4 TDs. Not a bad start. Had a lackluster day on defense though.
We are in the Bantam division (1st and 2nd graders)
Anybody else have a kid playing youth football?

I'll go out on a limb and pick a longshot here: Nightmare

Spencer Ware

What about Spencer Ware for the class of 2010 from Cincinnati Princeton? The kid was gmc offensive player of the year as a sophomore last season. Has been a starter since his freshman year. Plays quarterback in high school, but ran for more than 1,000 yards last season and projects as a running back at the next level. I have seen the kid play and he's a stud. He's about 5'10'' and weighs around 205-210 lbs.:oh::io:

Ding, ding we have a winner. Ware is a likely 5 star player and athletic as all get out. I think Bud Golden could be a real steal for somebody this year though.

I cant count Spencer Ware as the next "It" RB in Ohio since he doesnt line up at RB..

Im sure he can be explosive at the position, but running from the QB position is different than running from the tailback position..

Im not sure there is an "It" back like Clarett or Beanie at this point..

Erick Howard would probably be the guy, if there is.. but Im not sure he's at the level of the two guys I mentioned..

For kicks and giggles could the mod please put the name Devin Sprecher
(pronounced Spiker) class of 2013 in the archieves. I know talent when I see it, the kid has been just head and shoulders above everyone in youth football for years now. Dad (5'8'') played RB for Morgan State. The mothers brother played OL for Kent State. I will be shocked if Devin isn't a D1 scholarship prospect in football or basketball.:)
