Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Couldn't find a welcome thread or anything, but wanted to say a little about myself.

Grew up in Dublin, Ohio, been a fan of Ohio State since 1983(was born in '82:wink2:), have since moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida, but I still get back to Ohio as much as I can. At least once in the summer to visit friends, and hang out in Dubs.

Plan on going to the Michigan game, or another Big Ten game this year, and can't wait for football season to roll around. Actually flew up to Columbus to watch the 2003 Fiesta Bowl with friends. Long time fan, and plan on moving back to Dublin after a quick stint of post graduate working at my job I have lined up in NYC.

I hope you like it here. There are a few questions you need to answer before you are accepted as a quality poster.

1) what are your feelings about our offensive scheme and coordinator?

2) Who do you think should start Troy Smith, or Justin Zwick, and why.

3) Do you think Dustin Fox will get drafted, and will he be a cornerback or safety?

4) Have you ever lived in Alabama, or been a Tide fan? If yes would you consider yourself a "TideBuck"?

5) Do you know how to swim?

I think this year will be a great year for OSU offensively. With Teddy and Troy, I just can't imagine anything but another BCS bid, and dare I say National Championship. I think our OC is good, but this year will really be my deciding year for Bollman. If he can't produce this year he should be gone. Too much talent to win games by a last second field goal.

Troy Smith. Justin and Troy are even, but I give Troy the nod because I think the QB run game is HUGE is college football. Nebraska '95 and Texas '05(Florida in '07 with Tim Tebow :wink: ). To me, Troy may be more trouble(arguing and such with Tressel), but the talent gap is not a question when he runs the ball. I like a balanced offense and think this year will be something to watch.

I may not be a smart guy, but I'm pretty sure he already graduated and was drafted by the Vikings as a Safety. 3rd round I believe. Nice try though. :p

I have never lived in 'Bama, and I haven't been a Tide fan. I like their tradition, and enjoy some of their history, but Bear Bryant was a crook and a cheat.

I do know how to swim, learned at the Dublin pool during summers in the 80's.

Ahh its ok, everyone needs to know my football feelings. I'll answer some questions.

The real question is, will Mike Nugent, Ted Nugents love child be drafted? And if so what round and to whom?????:biggrin:

I was born in Buffalo, NY, and lived there til '83, so there's some things I missed out on for 18months :wink:

Ohio State is my 2nd oldest team I've loved, Buffalo Sabres being since 1982:tongue2:


Oh and I forgot, beer for everyone.:cheers::cheers: I brought Newcastle, and Busch Light. Yes I enjoy Busch every so often. But Newcastle is the #1 choice.

Oh also, if Ohio State and UF played, I will always go for Ohio State. I'm not a basketball fan, but had OSU met UF in the tournament(which was very possible) Ohio State would have been my choice.

OSU takes precedent over every team, even if I go to school elsewhere.

Sorry, just wanted to share my feelings on attending another university.

You may beinterested to know that Ronnie 'Taz' Wilson, current Gator who was recruited by OSU has posted a bit on this board, and still posts from time to time. Check out his official thread (try the search function). His screen name is, surprisingly enough, Taz.

He's got a lot of fans here. :biggrin:
