You guys suck... a lot. They have specials like this all the time, recently it was madden 06 that they were offering for both consoles for $40. I'm hoping xbox will be next and I didn't miss the xbox sale yesterday or something.

The best deal out there is at GameRush (the Blockbuster videogame store). Trade in two games and get any pre-order or new release game for $29.99 minus the trade-in value on the games. (2003 or 2k3 sports games excluded from trade-in)

They've been running this sale since April.

By doing this I've paid less than $20 for Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Forza, Jade Empire, and Fight Night Round 2 combined.

When I traded in FN2, I got $30 for it which paid for Forza, plus I got the trade-in value on the other game put on my account.

Are you sure you can turn in any random game? Here is their disclaimer, but I'm suspicious that they may not take lesser titles like "Namco Museum" which I got for $8 on ebay and want my money back :)

Each store is different. The one I go to wouldn't take 2003 or 2004 sports games. That policy is up to each individual store.

They took my Starsky & Hutch* and I only got $4 for it, but it was one of two games that I traded in one day.

*I did not buy this game, it was given to me as a gift by someone who knows nothing about videogames. I have since let everyone know that if they plan on getting me a game at anytime, just get me a giftcard to the game store.

--Also, you have to get a Blockbuster membership in order to be able to trade games in, but its free and only takes 5 minutes.

I went and pre-ordered today at Gamerush. Traded in Ghost Recon 2 and Crimson Skies. Ended up paying $6 and some change for NCAA.

When I beat Splinter Cell, I'll go trade that and another old game in towards the new Zelda. Since SC is relatively new, I probably won't have to pay anything out of pocket.
