My Preseason Preview/Kind of website

RB07OSU

Head Coach
Staff member
BP Recruiting Team
As I have mentioned before, my dream has always been able to follow the Buckeyes for a career. I am majoring in journalism next fall at The Ohio State University as a transfer. To kind of jumpstart myself and get some experience, I wrote a preseason capsule that would give me a challenge. It took me some hard work, research, and time to do but I finally got it done yesterday. While I am far from a professional opinion and the article doesn't really have much aesthetic appeal, I still would appreciate it if you would check it out. It's pretty long and likely basic info our adamant posters here already know, so it's more for mid or entry level fans.

I started a blog on Google Docs, which is linked to my facebook group. I am going to try and update it every week, with both recruiting recaps and game previews. The group is called "The Buckeye Spot"...go ahead and laugh (I am), it's not very creative and it will likely get renamed. I obviously in no means wish to compete with BP, as I couldn't hold a candle to the site anyways. Any support, suggestions, critiques, or comments would be awesome. Here are the links to both the facebook page and the Google Docs blog (you don't have to be a member for either, though I wouldn't mind it). Feel free to move this mods, as I just thought this would be the best place since it has the 2009 football preview.

Here is my Navy preview for anyone interested. I had to dig deep on this one, as I don't know much about Navy other than the triple scheme (I quarterbacked it in high school for awhile). My other previews should be a little more insightful. In any event, here it is:

I know this is a bit off topic, but I saw you were majoring in journalism.

It's a great major, and takes hard work, but you may want to pick up a minor in another field as well. We all have our dreams with what we want do to in life, but being realistic, I know a few people who have recently graduated from top journalism schools with impeccable resumes. Journalism jobs are very hard to come by these days however. Just keeping a look out for a fellow buckeye .:oh:

Thanks man...I know it's a tough field but as much as I love Buckeye football and recruiting, I'm just not taking no for an answer from anywhere :wink2: In case that involves a restraining order, I am a double major now in Political Science as well. On a side note, OSU's journalism school requires you to minor in something.
