Taosman
Your Cousin In New Mexxico
New vampire show on CBS this fall. About a private investigator/vampire.
Wow! What a concept. Combine a vampire show with a police show!
But.
Will it really suck?
PREMISE
"Angel" fans may experience Nosferatu deja vu while watching this eerie mystery series about private investigator Mick St. John, who is charismatic, resourceful and undead. Alex has been a vampire since he was bitten by his bloodsucking bride, Coraline, 60 years ago, although he still looks as young as the day he, well, died. Now he struggles against his basic vampire nature, using his sharpened senses to help the living, rather than treating the human race as an all-you-can-slurp buffet. This doesn't sit well with Coraline and most of the other vampires, possibly including his enigmatic friend Josef, and Mick's life -- undeath -- whatever -- only gets more complicated when he begins to fall for Beth Turner, a reporter who just so happens to be investigating the ongoing rash of unusual homicides in the area. Is there even a chance Beth would consider joining Mick's world as his lover? Clearly, his future happiness may be at, pardon the expression, stake.
