FWIW, read on the Brownsinsiders that a condo owned by MoC's burned last night. Here's a link.

"I've been searching the newswire and its not anywhere yet. There was a fire in NE Columbus this morning, in a condo complex off Hamilton Rd, north of Morse. When I got home from work, I thought it was close enough, I'd take my two boys over there. They're 3 and 6, so I like to take opportunities like this to mix adventure with lessons on fire safety.

We learned that noone was hurt except one fireman was mildly injured when falling through a floor. (That was the important stuff) While talking with another fireman he said they were starting an investigation because there were conflicting reports between the owner and witnesses. He then said the owner was Maurice Clarett. Sure enough, I looked around and saw him standing behind the building with a few others."

Firefighters were called to what seemed like a routine blaze yesterday morning on the Northeast Side. But nothing is routine when it involves former Ohio State football player Maurice Clarett.
Clarett, his girlfriend and two other couples were staying in the condo where the fire started, Columbus fire officials said.
The condo belongs to Clarett's aunt, Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Doug Smith said.
The fire required extra companies to extinguish, gutted the first floor and caused $140,000 worth of damage. Three firefighters were injured, Smith said.
Clarett and his girlfriend, Ashley Evans, woke up early yesterday and left to go out to breakfast, Smith said.
While the couple was out, smoke detectors woke another couple about 8:15 a.m. That couple woke up a third couple and their baby, who were sleeping in a basement bedroom, Smith said.
All escaped uninjured.
When and how the fire started in the condo on Meadowleigh Way, east of Blendon Woods Metro Park, remains unclear, according to Smith and arson investigator Josh Brent.
In trying to determine what started the blaze, accelerant-sniffing arson dogs were used in and around the condo, Smith said.
Neither he Smith nor Brent would say whether the dogs detected anything.
The former Buckeye attracts attention whenever he is spotted lately.
Clarett, who firefighters described as “very cooperative,” stayed close to family for several hours after the fire and tried to avoid media attention. He told one reporter he was “Marcus,” Maurice's older brother.
Charles Traylor, a talk-show host on WVKO (1580AM) and a family friend, said Clarett, along with his aunt, Kathy Thomas, and others who had been inside, wanted to be left alone.
“He wants to be here for his aunt,” Traylor said. “He doesn't want this to be a Maurice Clarett circus.”
Most notably, on New Year's Day this year, Clarett was accused of robbing two people at gunpoint outside a S. High Street bar.
Those aggravated-robbery charges are pending.

Well, it's a bit late for that.

I actually believe that all this stuff will be shown to have been set up as part of a new reality show, probably to be aired on ESPN2. Because I cannot believe that any one person can really be the sort of sh!t-magnet that Maurice seems to be.
