Interesting trivia - in elections without the incumbent President on the ticket - when the Redskins win their last game before the election, the incumbent's party has the winning candidate for President. When the Redskins lose their last game before the election the exiting incumbent's party loses the White House.

No kidding. I can stomach it since he is a Steeler though. But, boy oh boy, he is a special player in the NFL. In some ways, I'm glad he went to Michigan. The Steelers were able to get him in the 2nd round because of it.

Obama and McCain's interviews are on ESPN.com right now, on the front page. They are both pretty interesting. Both candidates were asked what they would change in the world of sports. McCain obviously went with a reduced use of performance enhancing drugs (Probably the one thing in politics that he has done that I have agreed with). Obama said he wants an 8-team playoff in college football.
