Ok, I'm just starting my 2nd season in dynasty and I only have 2 impact players (SS Bing and WR Smith). I thought either Lendale White or Dwayne Jarrett would've gotten the third one (or even maybe DE Jackson), but I'm one short.

And yes, I already checked and he's not in jail.
 
I simmed and played like 3 games a year my first time, and multiple times the first few games I only had two. The gay thing is they don't necessarily choose the right people, I had a great dual threat QB but they kept choosing good defenders instead for a while.

Just keep playing, I would bet in a few weeks you'll have your third.

No idea how to make it happen sooner.

Think that sucks? my second year of Bucks dynasty, i lose Teddy as an impact pyer (even though he won best returner for 7 punt returns that year - go figure). My two left are Santonio and JOHN KERR??? Uhh, what? Later in the season, Teddy returns as an impact player (though I dont know why, because in between the two seasons, i made the switch from a run & shoot to a power running game. tony pittman has over 2500 yards, and I've yet to play Northwestern and Michigan).

Yeah, 2nd season after Ginn caught over 1,000 yards receiving and took 5-6 punts back for TDs he loses his impact player status? Luckily Holmes stayed for his senior year and he kept his.

Funny thing I created Sirjo Welch and basically made him a lesser version of Donte Whitner. Sirjo Welch comes out of nowhere and becomes the impact player that replaces AJ Hawk but he is my 3rd best CB??? But it was just Welch & Holmes as my impact players... weird I tell ya.

I just had the same experience last night.

Finished my first season, won the Heisman with Ginn, start-up season #2 and Ginn is not an impact player - how lame!

Kerr is way overrated in this game.

After my first season I had about a ton of early departures and was able to talk people back. Trying to remember my list, it went something like this

Youboty - tried but failed to talk him back
Whitner - got him back
Datish
Downing
Troy Smith - failed
Patterson
Pitcock
Richardson - failed
John Kerr (Carpenter missed most of the year)
Frost * Transfer

I read a post over at pigskingamers.com and it appears that your impact player can change during the season.

Which on one hand is cool...but on the other is stupid when you're impact player from the previous year wins the Heisman and doesn't return as an impact player the following.

haha same fucking thing here.. teddy one best PR and lost impact played status and kerr is an impact player..fucking i lost my whole offensive line to the draft cause they all had like 100 pancakes. I pittman finished year one with a heisman and 2900 yards and 50 touchdowns

o ya, jamario oneal is sick in season 2

Yeah, Santonio got hurt in my first year, and the impact switched to Schlegel, which was sort of worthless, because I don't have him in for nickel or dime defenses.

Year 2, Santonio got impact status back, Lyons transferred, all my OL bolted, and Teddy lost his impact status. Don't know who the other two guys will be, as I haven't started yet.
