Ohio State and Penn State got put on probation. Purdue was the other beneficiary.

I hope they bring plenty of lube because the pounding they're going to take will be painful.

Purdue and Minnesota would have received bowl bids even if Ohio State and Penn State had been eligible. With the B1G's numerous tie-ins, win six games and you'll be playing somewhere. All the sanctions meant for the bowl lineup is that the New Year's Day bowls had to take lesser B1G teams and the lower-level tied-in bowls had to look elsewhere to fill their B1G spot.

We need a vbet on which "analyst" claims the B1G is down because of the bowl record. I got five on [Mark May].
