LSU 30, Auburn 24 (final)

I'm not as sold on LSU as the rest of the country is mainly because of their passing attack. Flynn is a very average quarterback when pressure is applied. If Auburn sells out to stop the run and has success like they did against Florida then they have a shot to win this game. Of course they have to find a way to score also, especially after the offensive explosion they produced last week (a whopping 9 points).

We're about to see just how pathetic the SEC really is.

I think you mean how great the SEC is, the great LSU will stomp a great Auburn defense. I predict Auburn going into the top 10 with a blow out loss and all the way to #3 with a win

Kool-aid drinkers on ESPN's message board (I look once in a while purely for comedic purposes) think that if LSU smashes Auburn and Ohio State struggles but wins against MSU that LSU will take over the #1 spot. Hilarity always ensues when the average SEC message board fan logic comes out. Gatorubet is safe... for now.

the worst thing that ever happened to College Football was readily available internet access for SEC fans

Hey what's with the SEC hate :wink2:

I'm not really the biggest Matt Flynn fan either, but there are reasons for why he hasn't played all that well lately. He's been hobbled with an ankle injury lately which has ruined his mobility. He was near 100% for the Kentucky game and you could see him moving around pretty well with his feet. He runs a 4.6. Also Early Doucet, by far our best receiver, has been out the past three or so games and him and Flynn have natural chemistry. You can see Flynn and the younger guys, especially LaFell, just don't seem to have that chemistry. Doucet should be good to go against Auburn.

I personally love Ryan Perrilloux and I still don't understand why he didn't play in the 2nd half/ot against Kentucky. Also, our best runningback imo, Keiland Williams, only got 1 carry. I think we need both of them playing a lot more in this game, as well as Terrance Tolliver, the #1 WR recruit from last year, if we want to keep a very good Auburn defense off balance.

LSU-Auburn always goes down to the end, no matter what either teams' record is. I'm pretty confident we'll get the win, especially because it's a Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. But who knows what will happen the way this season has gone.

Auburn vs LSU is always a tight game so I wouldn't predict a big win(scoring) from LSU. And besides LSU is just not explosive.
LSU close win. Enough to jump BC? Maybe not this week if BC wins.
But, you get the sense that people are pushing LSU to be in the championship game because they're from the SEC.

Good point. I really don't see BC coming out with a win in Blacksburg. VT doesn't have much of an offense, but they have a pretty solid D.

tOSU and LSU would be an absolute slug fest lol

Only 3 of their last ten meetings have been decided by less than a TD.

This one could be 4th of 11, but don't bet on it. LSU will be out for blood.
