I found "Rudy" on TV this weekend. And I couldn't find anything else of interest on. So I watched the second half of it. Toward the end, my wife (who has never seen it) was asking about whether Sam, the hobbit, was going to be able to play football. I said something like, "Of course - it's a movie. It's pretty rare that the good guys don't win in movies." Then I thought about what I said, and added: "I guess this is one where the bad guy wins; Notre Dame is never the good guy."
