Let the debate begin..

I think the Jordan Hall to Pryor pass should be in there

As fun of a play it was to watch, it was against a horribad defense in a blowout game and didn't seem to take too much skill seeing that Pryor wasn't even covered. But, nonetheless debated with myself on whether or not to add that play to the vid because it was a fun play to watch and I loved the creativity in playcalling.

just curious on what the criteria was you used? was it the play itself or did it have to have significant value? I'm guessing the latter weighed more since the INT in the sugar was #1?

I only ask because like the deep pass to Posey in the sugar I don't find a top 10 type play, yes a great play, but it's a play you routinely see, imo.

I'm honestly having trouble remembering plays to be able to come up with one

edit:

oh, i remember one, screw the refs, i don't care what the record book says, but Boom's run against Michigan i think should be there

edit: now, im starting to remember  also Sanz's catch against Iowa near the end of the game that put them down to the 2 yard line

Importance to the game/season (though, most of the games were blowouts)
Level of competition (so a deepball in a close BCS game fits this bill)
and impressive/skilled play (Sanzenbacher's tip drill vs PSU)

I'll explain top 5
Int return-after trailing for most of the PSU game the pick six led to Ohio state gaining the lead and easily winning the game

Posey TD sugar Bowl- heavily covered, if the pass was any less accurate could've been a pick in the endzone and it was another vital score in a BCS game

Sanzenbacher fumble recovery- Pryor starts the play by running for a impressive first down on 3rd n long, fumbles after 30 yards, and Sanzenbacher leaps and grabs a touchdown, which couldn't/should've been a Arkansas touchback if it wasn't for the athleticism of Dane

Pryor run- saved the season by grabbing 10 yards on the run on 4th and 10 on a crucial drive with minutes left in the game

INT in sugar- do i have to even explain? :P

hope this helps a lil.

I can't remember which game it was in (I think it was the bowl game) where we threw left to a completely wide open TE that seemed like it went forever. It was almost like a TE screen. That play was awesome.
Arkansas, play-action fake out of the read option where the nickelback/safety bit hard on the fake and Reid rumbled for a long ways.

At the risk of beating this dead horse to the consistency of gerber's mashed peas.

The only solution is to ban gifts to the kids from the school or to not allow the school to give them to the kids until they give up their eligibility or it expires.

legally a gift is gift because it is unconditional. Legally you can do what ever you want with it. BUT in this case what they did with them are NCAA rule violations, but not an illegal act, and they must suffer the consequences. No comment on fairness of penalty.

If schools are allowed to give kids "gifts" that aren't gifts in the eyes of the NCAA this problem will continue forever. As long as players get gifts they will be given to others... to grateful girlfriends, boosters, tat artists, little brothers with a car you want, etc..

C'mon...hands in the air if you got some from a grateful girlfriend after giving her your letter jacket, championship ring or some other crap you got from the school. Rules violations? hmmm lemee see something of value in return for a gift from the school. fer sure. Well it might be more affective than thinking about baseball.

By the way who doesn't think Massoli and Mallet didn't unload all their Oregon and Michigan crap
