    • Just taking a wild shot... anyone have a recommendation for a computer lock?

    I've used them years ago... but never thought much of them... always seemed that you could just rip them off... and walk away with the machine

    Looking at the Targus brand... but customer reviews are always all over the board...
     
    I personally like and have the Kensington brand.

    This is the one I have...it may seem expensive but, how much is your laptop? Exactly....

    The laptop is an expensive Mac for my new college student... I read good reviews about that exact Kensington lock... I was also wondering if a combination lock was easier to deal with than a key lock...

    Day 15: Still stuck in Starbucks with the computer chained to a table. Seem to be developing intense caffeine dependence whee what's that whoops saw something shiny. Still can't find keys. Tammy has video chat on so I don't miss too many classes. So tired of biscotti. Want a cheeseburger. Please, please, send help.

    Day 16: I think someone just rolled down the street in a Snuggie.

    This is a son... so inherently he'll lose stuff... but this is more to keep the laptop from disappearing from his dorm room than anywhere else... or so I think...
