I am one of the most unhandy people you would ever meet. Yet, today I managed to fix one of our toilets. It was doing one of those annoying ass running things. Yep, one trick I was advised of was to wipe the flapper with bleach because the seal was not tight. If that did not work I was going to have to replace the whole flapper.

Low and behold it actually worked. I am now available for contracting services. I am more than qualified to change lightbulbs.

good work! bleach or rubbing alcohol works for that. i used to be worthless for repairs, then i starting paying attention to my dad and things started coming along

I changed 3 light bulbs last night. They weren't the normal kind either. They were the flat bulbs used in recess lighting. I used a ladder and everything.

Actually, I am a little bit handy. It is all self taught though, so the first "repair" job is usually not the last. This damn running toilet thing has previously gotten the best of me. Now I have conquered the bastard!

I think I will hold off a bit on the addition.

Well if you're Bob Vila, then I'm Mr. Goodwrench. The new registration stickers came in the mail yesterday for my car- I took off the license plate frame (Buckeyes, of course...) and put the sticker on, and then put the frame back on the license plate.

I rule.

I am on a roll guys. I painted/stained the front of the house today. Nothing like putting a very light tan on a light tan in the bright sunlight. I could not wear sunglasses because I could not clearly see the places I had just painted. The first time I walked into a shadow I thought it was night.
