Kitna - predicts Lions win 10+ from '07 Schedule - pass the bong or on target?

And I have to assume he is not counting the pre-season games.

The Detroit Lions haven't had a winning record since 2000 and haven't won 10 games since 1995. That's all going to change in 2007, according to quarterback Jon Kitna.
Appearing on WDFN-AM in Detroit on Thursday, Kitna predicted that the Lions will win more than 10 games this season. The Lions were 3-13 in 2006. In March, Kitna said the Lions would win 10 games in 2007, but after seeing the team's schedule he adjusted his prediction -- higher. "I'll keep to myself what I think we actually will win. But it's more than 10 games," Kitna said. Part of the reason for Kitna's optimism is Calvin Johnson, the team's first-round draft pick. "I don't like putting a lot of pressure on people, but Calvin Johnson, to me, will have about the same impact that Reggie Bush had in New Orleans," Kitna said. "He's everything that they said he was and more."

I see one game they'll probably be favored to win and it's at Oakland in the first week, so anyone could win it.

Honestly, depending on how good Tampa is, there is a very good chance they won't be the favorite in any game the rest of the season. I heard this story this morning on $port$Center and I shook my head then too....

They'll probably end up closer to 1-15 than 10-6....

It seems to me that they are putting the same hopes and prophesies on Johnson that they used on Williams and a couple other WR they drafted.
You might , in refernce to this thread, Call the Tigers the "Bong show" . :biggrin:

10 wins for the lions is a joke, they have by far the worse offensive line in the league, drafting johnson was a great job but they cant block a pop warner team. that franchise is going to take a while to rebuild, resigning millen put them 5 years behind.
