Agreed. He made the adjustments bc the DB's couldn't hold up in coverage. Then the weasel's run game took over late. They gutted our defense for the 2nd year in a row, just did it a different way: by the pass 1st and run to put it away.

and DTs were nowhere to be found... time and time again..

Harrison was the one routinely breaking contain by trying to run a mile around the tackle. He looked like an inside move would cause him to turn to dust.

Yep the DL was almost as bad as the secondary play. Honestly on one of the long pass plays Ransom cut under as I am sure he thought the DL would get there easily.

I’d imagine the plan involved your secondary not absolutely shitting the bed several times. Cover 0 was pretty clearly working whenever the DBs were intelligent enough to not let someone be 20 yards away from the nearest defender.

That doesn’t sound like it was working to me.

what Knowles put together was pretty clearly working until the players just botched the hell out of coverages.

There’s not a lot Knowles can do about years of shitty secondary development due to Kerry Coombs being focused on a job he should never have had to begin with.
