i just see this turning into a political debate - same as everytime he is mentioned anywhere.

If he were a politician I would have put it in the other forum.

I guess where I stand on him is that he is bad for America.

I feel he almost wishes he were shot instead of MLK.

I guess what leaves the worst taste in my mouth is when he came to the aid of this black woman who worked at UDF in Columbus and claimed she was fired for being a minority.

Jackson was on the first Rainbow Coalition Jet to Columbus grandstanding in front of the press.

The next day, UDF releases a video of her stealing from the cash register and he is never heard from again on the issue.

i dont disagree with any of that, i'm just saying that anytime he is brought up in discussion anywhere it usually leads to political talk.

on a side note, i have a very funny Jesse Jackson story...

last year i was flying home from San Diego and i had a lay over at Ohare. up walks this large crew of people with jesse standing in the middle - they stood around for a few minutes then a few of them walked to the other side of the isle and started talking loudly to themselves and said "hey thats Jesse Jackson" - acting as if they weren't part of his group - just to attract attention to him - not one person got up and walked over there - i thought i was going to piss my pants
