Team Scarlet & Gray is now in the semifinals—and are two wins away from the $2 million prize.

The stars from Ohio State basketball past have been putting on a clinic in The Basketball Tournament. Team Scarlet & Gray have marched their way into the semifinals, and are two wins away from taking home the tournament prize of $2 million.

On Sunday, Scarlet & Gray played their Midwest Regional Final in Brooklyn, NY at the Steinberg Center—winning in convincing fashion. With the winner punching their ticket to Baltimore for the semifinals, the band of Buckeyes defeated the Golden Eagles, a team consisting of former Marquette players, 81-56.

It was a battle of the top two seeded teams in the Midwest region, but the No. 2 seeded Scarlet & Gray were too much for the Golden Eagles to handle. Jared Sullinger pulled down 8 rebounds and scored 15 points in the win, however, the brunt of the scoring came from David Lighty and William Buford.

Lighty led the team with 23 points, going 9-14 from the field and 3-4 from three-point range. Buford wasn’t too far behind, scoring 21 points. Leon Rodgers, one of only two members on the team that didn’t play for the Buckeyes, also poured in 15 points. In total, four members from the Scarlet & Gray reached double-digit scoring outputs—proving to be too much for the Golden Eagles.

Aaron Craft led all players on the floor with 8 assists while staying on the floor for 36 minutes. While Craft may have been known as a lockdown defender in college, the Golden Eagles were missing open shots from beyond the arc. When the game went final, the Golden Eagles hit only 4-of-25 shots from three.

You can catch the highlights below:

The victory now puts the Scarlet & Gray up against Team Challenge ALS, the winners from the West Region. Their semifinal contest is slated for 7 p.m. on Aug. 1. ESPN will televise the game.
