Reminds me of how Spiels was.
Actually knowledgeable about the game and able to convey it while staying about as neutral as you can be.
Of course, that's why these type of guys never get to the lofty spaces of the Frosted Tip cliche spewers of the broadcasting world.
Knowledgeable and fair doesn't push many peoples buttons.

That said as a blanket statement, he's good on TV, he's kind of like Dustin Fox style-wise, only Dustin calls a lot of lower-league games and isn't on BTN. But in terms of listening to a game call, I'm good with both of them.

Jake has been highlighting Oregon Duck Kenyon Sadiq as the best TE in the country. Given his creds as a Mackey winner, I won’t disagree with him.
This morning I watched Oregon crush Okie State and Sadiq is a guy that can show up on freak lists. He‘s strong, very fast for a TE, and can catch the ball. They use him on screens and end-arounds, and he picks up yards in chunks. I remember TE Terrance Ferguson from playing the Ducks last year (he got picked in the 2nd round), but this guy is an upgrade for them.

I was about to ask if he's as good as Tyler Warren....who we shut down last year. But Oregon isn't coached by somebody playing a big practical joke on their fanbase.
