In another shocking example of synchronicity, Peppers actually was responsible for the death of Lennay Kekua, who he gave Clymichigan disease.Te'O was actually productive, though. Peppers, nope.
Good list, but you've left out the greatest ND over-hype of all time, Paul Hornung. THE most undeserving Heisman winner in the history of the award.1. Jabrill Peppers
2.
3. Rudy
4. Manti Te'o
5. Ron Powlus
There's a trend developing as we round out the top 5.
Emphasis mine. MGoBlog used to be a solid site fairly grounded in reality. But ever since HARBRAU, it's little more than a scUM fanboy site sealed off from any criticism from the outside that refuses to look at it's players/coaches with any objectivity. Despite wholly mediocre numbers since their cupcakes fell off the schedule, Gerbil is still the OMG GR8EST EVAR!!11!!!1!That's a hell of a hedge with your final two sentences in an article headlined "Jabrill Peppers going pro," but Sam Webb retweeted it so good enough for me. Jabrill Peppers off to the first round of the draft, where he will create one more burst of "LOL OVERRATED I CAN'T SPELL BANANNANA" tweets before embarking on a long and excellent NFL career.
CBS Sports has Gerbil as the #3 overall () and #1 OLB (ahead of Tim Williams from Alabama). Any team that drafts Gerbil ahead of Williams needs to dissolve their franchise...
Anybody with any actual football knowledge has had him slipping in their drafts in recent weeks...Mostly in the 15-25 range. As more people move past the baseless media hype, I suspect more will follow.CBS Sports has Gerbil as the #3 overall () and #1 OLB (ahead of Tim Williams from Alabama). I seriously can't see him going in the first two rounds at LB...I just can't. Way too small, plays out of position, over-pursues, avoids major contact, can't shed blockers, negligible cover skills...but he can bust a big return every blue moon so I guess that makes him a draft prospect.Anybody with any actual football knowledge has had him slipping in their drafts in recent weeks...Mostly in the 15-25 range. With the backlash, I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he returned. Would give scUM a dangerous returnman next year, but defensively, he is what he is. I don't think he's gonna improve.
Wow...Yeah. Never paid much attention but he won the Heisman as the QB of a 2-8 Notre Dame team after throwing 3 TD vs. 13 INT.Good list, but you've left out the greatest ND over-hype of all time, Paul Hornung. THE most undeserving Heisman winner in the history of the award.
