It's Time to Sustain BP Monthly

I'd guess we're not looking for numbers that get to the dollar/cents tier... rounding to the hundreds or five-hundreds would be OK... don't want this to be an accounting or math exam... Was looking for team validation of "we did good".. Collecting $1000, we suck... Collecting $3000, we did the minimum, but we still suck... Collecting $5K+, we did good and we can be proud of our ecosystem

We should set a minimum monthly ante to the equivalent of one beer at your nearest pub

so I got an update on this (since the 3-4 month answer), and can speak generally (without knowing all the little stuff yet)

Our initial estimate needed was 1400 (350 x 4)
Upon review, we revised this need to 1700 (425 x 4)
BP donated somewhere between 1800-2000ish, which is awesome.

So we raised 29-43% more capital than the 1400 we wanted to raise, which is great. We still cleared the revised total of 1700.

With the adjusted upfront cost (1700), we have about 100-300 leftover. So we've comfortably met the emergency capital needs and there are no alarms sounding.


That's the "can we revive BP" bucket. A resounding yes!


The stability comes from the monthly donations we can plan around, which is a different bucket of funding. Keep those coming in if you're able, and we will update in the near future with what we have raised for monthly commitments as a team!
