  • OK, this past weekend I had some fat moke pull out in front of me on my bicycle and cause me to fall on my left side, scratching the screen of my iPhone 4S that was in the back left pocket of my cycling jersey. The screen didn;t crack and the phone works fine, but I have 5-6 good-sixed straches (more like mini-gouges). I was thinking about trying to use some car wax to semi-buff out the straches, but wonder what it would do to the oleophobic (anti-oil) coating on the glass. Has anyone had any experience in removing scratches from an iPhone screen?

Take it to the apple store. They can replace screens for cheap (like $25). The new 5's are not so easy.

I don't think you'll be able to fix gouges. Give your nearest Apple store a call, explain what happened, and see what they say
