    • user complaining that system is running VERY slow. ran spyware tools, virus tools, removed a bunch of stuff, but its still running very slow. defrag, and check amount of ram. still running very slow. looked at the task mangler and noticed that spoolsv.exe was taking up 99% of CPU. removed all files from c:\windows\system32\printers\

    working fine now!
     
    Sometimes the printer app running in the background for my Lexmark will eat up 99% of my cpu for whatever reason, but I will just end task and then next time I need to print I reboot first...kinda odd but idk why it happens
