I haven't seen a lot of those movies (including Godfather), but I loved him in Scent of a Woman, Merchant of Venice (Shylock), and Glengarry Glen Ross.

Went with the obvious Michael Corleone, then Sonny from "Dog Day Afternoon", and Lefty from "Donnie Brasco" which is one of my favorite movies and I think one of the most underrated flicks of the '90's.

...also really like the Vincent Hanna character ('cause she's got a GREAT ASS!!!!!!). Probably shooulda thrown Ricky Roma from Glengarry Glen Ross on there too Tibs, though it could be a write in I suppose.

I voted for the first 3 on the list. I'm in the group that thinks he's overacted in many of his roles.
I was impressed with his performance as Shylock, though. I read the play right after seeing the movie.

Agreed. It's incredible how many great characters he's portrayed. They're all good, but none of them are close to Michael Corleone. Every time I watch any of the Godfathers (even III), I'm blown away by that character.
