On today’s episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with The Athletic’s Stewart Mandel to take a look at the new era of college football that will be unfolding this season and where the Buckeyes stand in it. Despite the expanded Big Ten, Mandel still has the Buckeyes as the clear-cut favorites in the conference and has them penciled in at 12-0 this regular season. The combination of a ton of experienced players back who could have entered the NFL draft and landing some of the biggest names in the transfer portal has put Ohio State at the top of Mandel’s predictions for this season.
Matt and Stewart also talk about how the 12-team College Football Playoff will change the regular season, which version of Chip Kelly we will see running the OSU offense, and what Buckeye fans should expect from their top-line transfers this season.
