Congrats......now your life will really change. More purpose, more responsibility, more love to give, more of everything.

This is the real reason why we (adults) are really here. To raise, nurture, teach and love our kids.

One of the great perks of kids is when they are old enough to sit on your lap and say, " Hey daddy, read me a story."

Sorry to be so sappy, but it is a full time, lifetime job.:)

Congratulations! My ex-wife just had a boy and so did one of my best friends here: people start late (mid 30s) in NYC, they are the first friends of mine here with kids. Plenty in Ohio of course.

I only get the role of "cool uncle" but can't imagine anything more amazing than what you will experience. I may adopt soon (or rather be a step-dad?), but there is something magical to creating life. I'm jealous. :)

And, of course, I hope it is a boy with a pleasant demeanor and a mean linebacker streak on the field. :biggrin:

Enjoy the baby time now. It won't be long until they will be able to walk and talk. And you know what that means....





Yep. You can yell "Get daddy an f-ing beer PRONTO or I'll get the belt!!!!!" and the little darlings will jump like a scalded rabbit. :banger:
